La Touche Training

Regulatory law is increasingly challenging. La Touche Training's 2023 Regulatory Investigations Conference has been designed for those working in the field of regulation: criminal, civil or professional.
Taking place virtually over two half days, the conference will address current issues for investigators working in agencies with powers to investigate, and for  solicitors or barristers advising the regulators or those being investigated.

In the increasingly complex world of regulatory prosecutions, it is important that regulators ensure that their investigations are up to scrutiny. More and more regulators find that their investigations are being challenged both during the investigation and at trial. This event examines a number of the issues which arise and looks at current case law in the area.

By attending the conference you will explore:

- The Role of the Forensic Accountant in Criminal Investigations

- How to interview a witness and ensure all matters are covered.

- How to obtain information during the course of the investigation which adheres to GDPR principles.

- What happens if a request under FOI is made in the course of the investigation?
